Accessibility Statement
Carbon Sun is committed to making its website and services accessible to as many people as reasonably possible.
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Carbon Sun wants everyone who visits this website to be able to find information, understand the content and use the enquiry and appointment-booking services with confidence.
Accessibility approach
The website is being developed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its accessibility target. These guidelines explain how to make digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
This statement is a commitment to ongoing improvement. It does not claim that every page or third-party component has undergone a complete independent accessibility audit.
What you should be able to do
The aim is for visitors to be able to:
- navigate the principal content using a keyboard;
- zoom text without losing essential content or functionality;
- use the website on desktop, tablet and mobile screens;
- understand headings, links, buttons and form instructions;
- use meaningful alternative text where images convey information;
- distinguish text and controls through sufficient colour contrast;
- pause or avoid unnecessary movement where applicable; and
- use current screen readers and other assistive technologies with the main content.
Known limitations
Some parts of the website may not yet meet the intended standard fully. Potential limitations may include:
- third-party appointment-booking, payment, video or embedded-content interfaces;
- older documents or PDFs that have not been fully structured for assistive technology;
- occasional decorative or generated images whose alternative text requires further review;
- focus indicators, form messages or controls supplied by third-party plugins; and
- content introduced by future plugin or website updates.
Carbon Sun will seek to address identified problems proportionately and will work with relevant suppliers where a limitation arises from third-party software.
Appointment booking and customer dashboard
Appointment booking and account functions are provided using LatePoint, with payment processing supplied through Stripe. These third-party components may have accessibility behaviour outside Carbon Sun’s direct control.
If you cannot use the online booking form or customer dashboard, please contact Carbon Sun. Reasonable assistance or an alternative booking method can be offered.
Alternative formats and reasonable adjustments
If you need information in a different format, help completing a booking, or a reasonable adjustment relating to an appointment, please get in touch. Examples may include:
- booking by telephone or email;
- receiving essential information in a simpler electronic format;
- discussing access requirements for a Southam or London venue; or
- agreeing an appropriate online or telephone alternative where suitable.
Requests will be considered individually and responded to as soon as reasonably possible.
Using your browser or device
Your browser and operating system may allow you to enlarge text, change colours, use voice control, enable captions or use a screen reader. Guidance is available through your device’s accessibility settings and from organisations such as AbilityNet.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you encounter a barrier, please provide:
- the page address;
- a short description of the problem;
- the device and browser being used, if known; and
- the format or assistance that would help.
Email chriswoodruff@carbon-sun.com. Carbon Sun will aim to acknowledge the issue promptly and explain what can reasonably be done.
Assessment and review
The website should be reviewed using a combination of automated checks and manual testing, including keyboard navigation, responsive layouts, headings, labels, alternative text, focus visibility and colour contrast. This statement should be updated after a formal audit or whenever significant changes are made.
Legal context
Carbon Sun is committed to avoiding unlawful discrimination and considering reasonable adjustments in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. WCAG 2.2 AA is used as the practical accessibility target for the website.
